Mission Statement:
Our goal is to maximize parity for women of all ages, by supporting
the elimination of non-discriminatory services and practices in the areas
of housing, employment, health services, child care, elder care, affirmative
action, reproductive rights, domestic violence, sexual harassment and
legislative issues. |

Meetings are open to the public and are usually held on the second Wednesday of each
month beginning at 6:00pm at Eden Multipurpose Service Center 24100 Amador,
Sixth floor, Hayward CA 94544. There are a few exceptions to this rule. It is advisable to call at least 24 hours before a meeting date.

Note: The Commission is composed of seventeen members at full compliment. The Board
Of Supervisors appoints three commissioners from each district,
one is appointed by the Alameda County Mayor's Conference and one
is appointed as a representative of the Human Relations Commission. |
